In this radio broadcast from the 2022-23 season, riveting Ukrainian soprano Liudmyla Monastyrska takes on the opera's title character, a passionate diva caught between her love for the political revolutionary Mario Cavaradossi, sung by tenor Matthew Polenzani, and the sadistic Roman chief of police Scarpia, sung by baritone Željko Lučić.
