- Summary:
- Squirrel loves to eat sunflower seeds, and plants a seed to grow a sunflower. He prevents Chipmunk from eating the seed, and convinces Chipmunk to help protect the plant as it grows. Delaying gratification is difficult for Chipmunk, but he and Squirrel are rewarded with plentiful seeds once the sunflower blooms and dries out.
