- 本书分为正文和附录两个部分.正文部分为"稚澥诗集"."稚澥诗集"共六卷,卷一至卷三曰"仙井集",卷四曰"峡猿集",卷五曰"栈云集",卷六曰"海岱集",凡古近体诗640首.附录文三篇,曰"形势""时势""曹说"."晚晴簃诗汇""续修四库全书总目提要(稿本)"对"稚澥诗集"的艺术造诣都有着较高的评价,认为毛澄诗才藻丽风发,"仙井集"中"拟古"及"蜀乱"五言长古诸篇,均胎息韩,杜;"苏祠新楼呈南皮夫子兼柬玉宾叔峤""文学台望峨眉和叔峤"七古,则飘飘欲仙,与大苏同一气概;"栈云集"中"西园引",用长庆体赋圆明园旧事,沉郁苍凉,其遒錬者差有玉溪深婉之意;"海岱集"中"行县绝句",又深可见省耕劝农,遇民如子之情况.附录一为"蜀云诗草"中不和"稚澥诗集"重复的部分.重庆图书馆藏有"蜀云诗草"一卷,题毛席丰撰,乃毛澄早年诗作的自选集,共有诗一百五十二首,不见于"稚澥诗集"的有七十三首.附录二为毛澄相关资料.
