- 《佛遊天竺記考釋》是岑仲勉對晉代法顯《佛遊天竺記》（又名《佛國記》）一書進行考釋的著作。岑仲勉是中國現代著名歷史學家，長期致力于歷史學研究，善于運用名物、制度、地理、碑石、掌故等方面的資料，比對考證史事，在隋唐史、先秦史、古代文獻學、中西交通和民族關系、史地考證等方面，均卓有建樹。本書分爲3個部分：書前附"印度概圖"；正文考釋先列《佛遊天竺記》原文，再援引史料，加以考釋；書後附"異名彙録"，將不同史籍中同一地名的不同記載彙集成表。本書在英、法、德等國學者及中國學者李光廷、馮承鈞等人考證的基礎上，援引中外史料，糾正了清代官修《西域圖志》的訛誤。本書依據商務印書館1934年版重新標點排版。
