- 《唐方鎮年表》，吴廷燮撰。《新唐書》有《方鎮表》6卷，表地而不表人，不能滿足研究者的需要。吴氏根據新舊《唐書》及其他典籍、雜史、别集等中的材料，爬梳整理，成《唐方鎮年表》8卷，對每個地區的節度使任職的情况，逐年列出，供研究者參考。此書材料豐富，但訛誤也有不少，使用時需注意查對。本書書後還附有原書的考證及岑仲勉《唐方鎮年表正補》，對于查考唐代方鎮有一定幫助，值得史學工作者重視。收入到《二十四史研究資料叢刊》中。
