- 《玉臺新詠》是繼《昭明文選》之後，於公元六世紀編成的一部上繼《詩經》《楚辭》下至南朝梁代的詩歌總集，歷來被認爲是南朝徐陵在梁中葉時所編。收詩769篇﹐共爲10卷。除第10卷中的《越人歌》相傳作於春秋戰國之間外﹐其餘都是自漢迄梁的作品。内容中多收録男女感情的記述表達，及其日常生活的方方面面，刻畫出古代女子豐富的感情世界，也展示出深刻的社會背景和漢族文化内涵。本次整理，以中華書局1985年《玉臺新詠箋注》本爲底本，選取其中部分經典篇目共237篇。本書原與《古詩十九首》合刊，收入《古詩十九首 玉臺新詠》中。
