- 《元史新編》，95卷，是魏源編纂的一部系統反應元代興亡及其社會根源的紀傳體史書。全書包括本紀14卷、列傳42卷、表7卷、志32卷。依據正史，旁搜《元朝秘史》《蒙古源流》《皇元聖武親征録》《元文類》及元人文集、明清有關著述百餘種，記元太祖元年至元順帝至正二十八年間史事。著重補充先元四朝史跡、西域輿地及治河、鈔法等，并首次利用國外資源考補西北邊防輿地沿革。本次整理以光緒三十一年慎微堂刊本為底本，并廣泛參考了相關材料，合刊為《魏源全集》。
