- 《郝懿行集》收録了清著名經學家郝懿行研治經、史、訓詁的大部分著作和詩文、筆記，共計31部。其中《海錯》又名《記海錯》，1卷，乃郝懿行所撰農書四種之一。是書專記山東沿海常見水産動植物，總計近50條，其中多載海洋魚類，一一注明體形特徵，考辨異名别稱，既是一部海洋生物學著作，又是詞彙學的寶貴歷史資料，具有很高的科學價值和語料價值。本次整理以光緒五年（1879）家刻本爲底本進行點校，對于考察山東沿海水産資源及其名稱變化極有幫助。
