- 《郝懿行集》收録了清著名經學家郝懿行研治經、史、訓詁的大部分著作和詩文、筆記，共計31部。其中《爾雅義疏》，20卷。《爾雅》注本繁多，皆未令學界滿意。郝懿行參考漢魏五家注，晉郭璞注，唐陸德明音義，宋邢昺疏、鄭樵注等前人注疏，廣泛徵引古籍，以聲音貫穿訓詁，探求詞源，并注重目驗考辨名物，數易其稿，歷時14年成書。然是書著意以聲音通訓詁，但郝氏于古音之學并不精到，故在言及"音同""音近 ""雙聲疊韻""聲轉"和"一聲之轉"時，難免有失。
