- 《竹人録》，清金元鈺撰。金元鈺，字堅齋，嘉定人，生卒年不詳，大約生活于清乾嘉年間，是錢大昕的弟子。所謂"竹人"，就是擅長用刀在竹質器物上鏤刻書畫作品的人。本書是有關竹刻藝術的專著，分上下兩卷，上卷是竹刻家小傳，每篇先簡單介紹字號、里貫、世系、師承等，然後著重介紹其所擅長的竹刻技藝和獨特的藝術風格；下卷集録了與竹刻相關的詩歌文賦等四十餘篇。因作者爲嘉定人，所以比較推崇明清竹刻嘉定派的技法，非嘉定籍的竹刻家則不在所録範圍之内。是書所記竹刻名家和名作，多爲作者親見，不但具有很高的史料價值，而且文筆也頗爲細膩。本次整理《竹人録》以清嘉慶十二年（1807）刻本爲底本，參校1922年嘉定張爾延鉛印本。
