- 《朱子全書外編》爲朱熹整理編修他人著作的合集，共計7種。其中《程氏外書》，12卷，乃南宋朱熹所輯北宋著名學者程顥、程頤的言行録，與《程氏經説》《程氏文集》《程氏遺書》并稱"程氏四書"。二程乃北宋理學的奠基者，其學説爲朱熹所繼承和發展。朱熹此編成于乾道九年（1173），將程氏遺言網羅大備，詳加辯正，使得程集有可信可傳之本。此次整理以上海圖書館藏明嘉靖本爲底本，并以該館所藏明弘治本、清吕氏本及國圖藏殘宋本對校，爲研究二程理學思想提供了便利。
