Volume names writers of accompanying text as editors.

"The map shows the stretch of land between the present Longhill Road, March and Primrose Hill, Doddington, and Marchford (now part of March town) and Wimblington. The map has been drawn on four sheets of vellum and is very detailed. Each strip, enclosed field and homestead is labelled with the name of the landowner or leaseholder and either nat or lib to signify whether it is held copyhold or freehold respectively."--Page 1 of volume.
"That the Doddington Manor map comprises of four slightly differing size sheets of vellum, that only the central portion of the estate is covered and that it lacks a border and boxes for the compass points suggests that there were once more sheets of vellum, probably detailing the west field of Doddington, Benwick, Stonea and the land between Longhill Road and the parish boundary at the twenty foot dike."--Page 2 of volume.
Volume includes bibliographical references (page 64-65) and indexes.
