In this full account of the Geneva Accords of 1954, Dr. Randle assesses the Eisenhower-Dulles policies in the critical months leading up to the conference, the effects of the antipathy between Foster Dulles and Anthony Eden, Mendes-France's policies in Indochina and Europe, and the day-by-day bargaining over political issues at Geneva.
