Paxton's argument is that the Crystal Palace could provide a "Winter Park and Garden under glass". Paxton's pamphlet is bound together with multiple others discussing the future of the Crystal Palace, some in favour of preserving it, some against, and a few proposing alternative uses. Includes an alphabetised list of the members of the Preservation of the Crystal Palace General Committee.
