- Barbara Hobl (Dr. phil.), freischaffende Philosophin und psychoanalytische Kulturtheoretikerin, ist als Dozentin in Deutschland und Österreich tätig. Sie konzipiert und moderiert Diskursformate und entwickelt unter dem Pseudonym Barbara Balsei als freie Dramaturgin zeitgenössische ästhetische Praxen und performative Theaterarbeiten. Ihr Forschungsinteresse ist die Vitalität und Vulnerabilität des Menschen.

- Taumelt der Mensch? Es scheint kein intellektuelles Angebot in der Lage zu sein, den gesellschaftlichen Diskurs über den offensichtlich desolaten Zustand unserer Welt mit einer starken Idee an sich zu ziehen. Warum ist es so schwer, über das Gute zu sprechen? Mit einem fein gewebten und überraschenden Entwurf gibt Barbara Hobl hier mit ihrem Ansatz der »Bricolage« eine Antwort. Sie schlägt in einem disziplinübergreifenden Gedankengang vor, wie dem allgegenwärtigen Bösen eine eigene Qualität, eine Dynamik des Guten, entgegengehalten werden kann. Der Begriff der Paradoxie wird dabei neu aufgelegt: als ›Drehmoment‹, das den Denkraum öffnet. Die Kraft der Negativität sowie die Notwendigkeit, unsere Wirklichkeit bricolierend sowohl mit Wahrheit als auch mit Fiktion in Verbindung zu bringen, sind dafür zentral.
