- Susanne Keuchel (Prof. Dr.) ist Direktorin der Akademie der Kulturellen Bildung und Honorarprofessorin am Institut für Kulturpolitik der Universität Hildesheim. Sie ist Präsidentin des Deutschen Kulturrats und Vorsitzende der Bundesvereinigung kulturelle Kinder- und Jugendbildung.
- Viola Kelb (Dipl.-Päd.) ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Universität zu Köln.

- Diversität gilt als Grundprinzip und die Vielfalt kultureller Ausdrucksformen als große Stärke der Kulturellen Bildung. Nicht selten hebt künstlerische Bildungspraxis interkulturelles bzw. transkulturelles Lernen als explizites Bildungsziel hervor. Doch was bedeutet eigentlich diversitätsbewusste Bildung? Und wie offen ist die Kulturelle Bildung wirklich für die vielfältigen Bedürfnisse unterschiedlichster Zielgruppen?Das Buch beleuchtet diese und weitere Aspekte systematisch aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln. - Diversity is considered a founding principle of cultural education, and the diversity of forms of cultural expression a major strength. It is not uncommon for artistic education practice to emphasize intercultural or transcultural learning as an explicit educational goal. But what does diversity-aware education actually mean?
