The thirteenth volume of the Fontes Minores once again provides editions of texts and examinations of specific aspects of Byzantine legal history. Topics include sources for the conspiracy of Michael II against Emperor Leo V and Thessalonian jurisprudence in the Palaiologan age, but also the question of the reasons for studying Byzantine legal history.
