He was involved in research, research strategies and management. He is emer. professor at the University of Technology, Delft (NL), holds multiple visiting professorships and is doctor honoris causa. He has been a member of numerous Research Councils and Governing Boards: e.a. CSIC (F), CNR (I), CSIC (E), NIMS (JP), of science and art academies, of the Science Council of the French Senate and the National Assembly, in Paris, and Fellow of multiple scientific societies. He has been honored by the Belgian King and received an award for European merits in Luxemburg by the former President of the European Commission. - "Gunjan Jeswani is associate professor and head of the department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus, Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institution, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. She is an innovative researcher in the field of pharmaceutical nanotechnology. Her research interest involves advanced polymeric dosage forms for cosmeceutical and parenteral drug delivery. She has developed novel long-acting dosage forms, including transdermal creams and particulate-based systems for the delivery of synthetic and natural drug molecules. She has published review and research articles in high impact national and international journals, co-authored book chapters in international books published by reputed publishers, and also authored a few textbooks of pharmaceutical sciences. Along with ten years of teaching experience, she is also the recipient of the “Young Scientist Award-2018” by Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology (CGCOST), India. She has additionally received various scholarships and grants from the Indian government for qualifying national exams and organizing national conferences."--Page [XLI].
