Diese Untersuchung befasst sich mit ihren Ursprüngen bei Platon sowie ihren modernen Formen in Bezug auf unterschiedliche erkenntnistheoretische Arten des Relativismus, ihren systematischen Schwachstellen sowie ihrem Potential, kohärente von inkohärenten Varianten des Relativismus zu unterscheiden.

Self-refutation arguments are among the oldest and most prevalent forms of argument against relativism. This study examines their origins in Plato along with their modern forms vis-á-vis the different epistemological flavors of relativism, their systematic weak points, and their potential value in differentiating between coherent and incoherent variants of relativism.
