- 本书是浙江大学"亚洲文化研究丛书"之一种.水月观音是中国佛教本土化过程中产生的图像,由周昉创始.虽然高丽水月观音画源于中国,是继承中国佛教文化而形成的图像,但与同时代元代水月观音画法迥然不同,有着不同的发展轨迹.在中国佛教世俗化和居士佛教的影响下,唐宋元水月观音画经历了由重彩向水墨的嬗变,而高丽水月观音图依然保持着唐代重彩华丽的画风,这是两国近世社会变革的时差造成的.本书图文结合,较为系统地阐述了这一绘画史的比较研究主题.
