- In this session, I discuss the correction for attenuation, which allows us to estimate the correlations between true score variables based on observed correlations and reliability estimates. I illustrate the application of both the "classical" correction for attenuation using hand calculations and the modern model-based application using confirmatory factor analysis with multiple correlated factors.
