- Public proclamation of the Holy Office in Crema, setting forth in detail the general regulations governing the faithful's obligations to the Roman Inquisition. The text commands avoidance of heretical teachings,strict observance of inquisitorial decrees, and the denunciation of any persons suspected of heresy, possession of prohibited books, or participation in forbidden assemblies. It specifically forbids the possession, reading, printing, or distribution of libri eretici et proibiti ("heretical and prohibited books") or works containing dottrine sospette ("suspect doctrines"), without enumerating titles.
