- Summary:
- In this session, Dr. Jairo Fuertes works with an adult male client who discusses hosting family for the upcoming holidays. The two discuss how the holidays allow memories of the client's late father to resurface. Dr. Fuertes explores the client's feelings about the holidays, memories of his family, coping with loss, and the legacy of his father. Together, they process themes of love and loss that emerge through the grieving process. At the end of session, they discuss what it would be like for the client to speak to his father today.
