Summary:
Keith S. Dobson talks with a 22-year-old woman who has been diagnosed since age 8 with anxiety (both generalized and social anxiety), clinical depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic attacks, and a phobia related to vomiting. In this first of six sessions, Dobson asks the client to describe her symptoms and sets goals for the treatment sessions. The client has learned to live with her panic attacks, so she would like to focus on controlling her compulsions and breaking those patterns. To that end, Dobson asks the client to keep track of her compulsions by writing them down on a daily chart as a homework assignment
