- Summary:
- Dr. Susan H. McDaniel works with a young couple struggling to create a loving environment for themselves and their young son. Their goals for therapy include improving their communication skills through respect and patience, learning to be open about their feelings, and learning to compromise. This session reviews the progress on goals established at the beginning of therapy. Although progress has been made, the couple is not ready to move back in together. Dr. McDaniel recommends continued counseling, gives them brochures about finding help, and gives them a printout of their goals. She points out that they share the same ideas on big issues and fight over the small ones, so with counseling they should be able to work out their problems
