Summary:
Dr. Charles H. Brown talks with a woman who is training for a half-marathon. She is interested in setting training goals, making a training plan, making sure she is motivated, and managing her training time. She also experiences race anxiety and wants help with that. Brown recognizes that she is in the "education" phase of her training and suggests a number of resources, including the Galway method of running. He also discusses nutrition and fuel needs during long-distance running. In terms of her race anxiety, he gives the client several strategies she can use, including shifting her focus during her runs
