- Summary:
- Dr. David J. Cain begins therapy with Jeannie, who is trying to deal with the stress of dissolving her marriage, and her teenage son who is exhibiting behavior problems. She is looking for a way to reconcile the fact that her husband's behavior has changed completely almost overnight since he had a health scare four years ago, and that he is no longer interested in his family. Their daughter and youngest son are adjusting well, but the middle son is depressed, angry, and has attempted suicide. Dr. Cain discusses the events of the past, which also include her own disability with arthritis and her children's own health issues, culminating in her husband's hospital stay and subsequent personality shift. Dr. Cain reinforces what good is coming to her in the future and she says she is focusing on her move
