- Dr. David J. Cain concludes therapy with a woman who is looking for closure regarding her husband's dramatic behavior change and her impending divorce. She still doesn't know how to address her children's questions regarding their father's behavior, and Dr. Cain encourages her to be honest with her children, and if she has no explanation, to tell them that. Dr. Cain emphasizes that she may never know why her husband changed so drastically, and that continuing to worry over it is futile and making her weary. He suggests she instead focus her energy on her new life approaching and her children. She discusses her desire to protect her children, and her frustration at not being able to protect them from all of life's blows. She also discusses her reticence at accepting help. Dr. Cain encourages her to remind herself of all of the help she has given to others, and that it is now time for her to allow others to help her
