- Summary:
- The parents of four children--a ten-year old and three eight-year old triplets--are concerned that they have grown apart after a series of life challenges. They describe feelings of anger toward each other and a lack of intimacy. In this fifth session of six, the therapist encourages the couple to recognize the various character strengths and the mutual support they have drawn upon in order to deal with the sources of stress in their lives. The wife discusses her depression and loss of identity as a sexual person. The therapist suggests that the couple could interpret the story of their relationship with one another in a different, more positive light
