Summary:
Jon Carlson completes therapy with a middle aged woman who has wanted to learn better coping skills for dealing with stress. Carlson begins this final session by checking in with the client to see how her daughter, who has been in an accident, is doing. She discusses her daughter's progress, and also how it makes her feel to see her daughter this way. Carlson then checks in to see if she was able to follow through on his suggestion to schedule time for herself. The client has followed his suggestions, and seems to be feeling more positive and less stressed in spite of her many stressors. Carlson finishes the session by pointing out the client's many coping skills and her ability to see things in a positive light
