Summary:
Dr. Tracy D. Eells works with a White, female, adult client who presents with stress, anxiety, and indecisiveness about her future. Dr. Eells gathers information about her present stressors, past and current relationships, and goals for the future. Dr. Eells then elicits information about the client's childhood and her current relationship with her parents, her life as a single mother after an abusive relationship with her child's father, and her indecision about her career path. Toward the end of the session, Dr. Eells summarizes the client's concerns and recommends areas that he believes would be useful to address in future counseling sessions. His recommendations include helping her understand patterns that might have kept her in unhealthy relationships, improving her stress management skills, and increasing her self-awareness
