- Summary:
- In this final session of four, Dr. Diana Fosha works with a young adult White heterosexual male who is experiencing existential and relational distress. Applying an accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy approach, Fosha employs a series of here-and-now, emotional focusing, fantasy, therapist self-disclosure and mindfulness interventions. After reviewing homework, Fosha supports the patient to deeply experience his feelings of pain, anger, and guilt. She guides the patient in creating a new narrative of what his life can be. Towards the end of session, the patient shares examples of how he has grown since starting therapy and the two provide each other feedback
