- Summary:
- "Wednesday 17 October 2012, 6.30pm The third public discussion based on APG's discursive format The Sculpture considers the Group's complex relationship to sculptural practice. From its earliest placements, APG attracted renowned sculptors such as Garth Evans, Barry Flanagan, David Hall and John Latham. The discussion - with Penelope Curtis, Jo Melvin and Barbara Steveni - addresses some of the apparent contradictions between APG's 'incidental,' non-object approach and the fact that it played host to some of the most progressive sculptors of the day. This event was part of the exhibition: The Individual and the Organisation: Artist Placement Group 1966-79 27 September to 16 December 2012"-- provided by distributor.
