- Summary:
- "In the context of a growing dynamic of gay-only meetings, we have noticed that feminism didn't have the same importance for all the gays who were there. We wanted to be with gays who shared a central place for feminism in our lives and practices and political experiences. We found that our relation to feminism made up an integral part of our mode of being gay. Therefore, we got together one weekend in 2012 to discuss the position we occupy as fags in relation to patriarchy, to share our experiences in feminist groups, and discuss the reasons for our proximity to feminist ideas. On this occasion, we discovered that we didn't know of very many texts written by gays on these questions from a "gay perspective," a discovery that didn't change much following some historical research in journals and zine. We therefore wanted to try to formulate some of our reflection and questions collectively and in writing..."-- provided by distributor.
