Summary:
"REAL LIFE is a one-hundred-and-fifty-page wander into one single photograph. The image is an orchestrated scene: thirty-three participants celebrating, taken in a back garden in Montmartre, Paris. Through the pages of the book, routes and rhythms within the image are explored, zooming in and out, creating a continuous loop to be looked at in any direction, at any pace. The photograph is never printed in its entirety, instead asking the reader to complete it from fragments, allowing new narratives to emerge. REAL LIFE is the first installment from Yonatan Vinitsky's lexicon of Abstraction (How to A,B,S,T,R,A,C,T Without Moving a Muscle). Photographed by Assaf Shoshan at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Montmartre, Paris 75018, on 2.10.2016. With: Denis, Ellie, Alma, Elinor, Marie, Yaniv, Agathe, Ido, Ofri, Lucie, Tony, Chaya, Astrid, Marion, Gal, Nimrod, Teddy, Hugo, Zoé, Aldéric, Sophie, Emilia, Xavier, Maya, Juliette, Salomé, Delphine, Mikaela, Giv, Cécile, Laurence, Corto, and Gaspard."-- provided by distributor.
