Summary:
Late medieval pilgrim badge, small lead figure of a saint in bas-relief, holding a sword and standing on a lion, probably Adrian of Nicomedia, whose relics were venerated at Sint-Adriaansabdij (the abbey of Saint Adrian) in Geraardsbergen, Belgium, from the end of the twelfth century. The figure includes loops on the left and right sides for sewing the badge to clothing.
