This corporate firm included the better known church architecture & father of Charles L., Charles W. Bolton, 1855-1942. According to the Biographical dictionary of Philadelphia architects, Charles L. entered into practice with his father in 1908 after his schooling at the University of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. After the death of Charles W. in 1942, Charles L. practiced alone.
