PR3551.R8 1878 Milton Collection copy presented to the Penn Libraries by Joseph A. Wittreich in honor of Stuart A. Curran, 2021 has frontispiece portrait of Milton (at age ten) with protective tissue guard and title page printed in black "with full page illustrations" in a gothic font. Text is surrounded by single red ruled border with decorative corner devices. Green bevelled boards with front cover and spine richly decorated in embossed black and gilt trim. Front cover has Milton's name in large embossed gilt lettering against a broad back band at top and "Edited by W.M. Rossetti" in gilt lettering within a smaller black band at bottom with a large gilt device at left center consisting of two long horns in embossed gilt, delicate gilt swirls and a central gilt device against black outline incorporating "Moxon's Popular Poets" in a scroll within. Shipping list laid in. Milton Collection copy has label from the Wesleyan Sunday School presenting this book to N. Noon as a reward to regular attendance and good conduct in 1898.
