- Keyword index refers to the full 148 NIPA table set, with standard industrial classification (SIC) for category 6 represented by suffix A, 1929-48 estimates based on 1942 SIC; suffix B, 1948-87 estimates based on 1972 SIC; and suffix C, 1987 estimates based on 1987 SIC. Private inventories and related series represented by suffix A (SIC), for 1997 and earlier and suffix B, North American industry classification system (NAICS) for 1997 forward. For NIPA tables (1.2, 3.18, 4.5, 7.18, 8.8, and 8.9) letter suffixes indicate that NIPA estimates are presented differently for different timespans.
