- The CADTH Canadian Drug Expert Committee (CDEC) recommends that travoprost 0.003% preserved with polyquaternium-1 (PQ) be reimbursed for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma (OAG) or ocular hypertension (OHT), if the following condition is met: The drug plan cost of treatment with travoprost 0.003% PQ should not exceed the drug plan cost of treatment with the least costly alternative prostaglandin analogue (PGA).
