Summary:
Since April 2015, the Dutch Breast Implant Registry (DBIR) has registered characteristics of patients, surgical procedures, and breast implants to monitor, benchmark, and improve the quality of breast implant surgery in the Netherlands. In addition, it can be used as a track and trace system for recall purposes. This is a second extended report of the Dutch Breast Implant Registry, based on a dataset from Dutch Breast Implant Registry (DBIR). The dataset of the DBIR is based on a core dataset developed by the International Collaboration of Breast Registry Activities (ICOBRA).
