Targeted immune modulators are used in the treatment of certain types of immunologic and inflammatory diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis (RA), juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA), ankylosing spondylitis (AS), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), plaque psoriasis, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis (UC). These drugs work by selectively blocking mechanisms involved in the inflammatory and immune response.
