- I. 'GOVERNMENT'S ITINERANT WAR CINEMA. Lord Beaverbrook inspects fleet of Cine-Motors which will depict war truths in the villages.' MS over the lowered side of a truck to the rear compartment where a corporal prepares one of two projectors - pan left to show more lorries parked in the background. MS of Beaverbrook as he inspects the rank of 'Cine-Motors'. The lorries drive off - they are numbered 1-10 and each bears the legend 'Ministry of Information Cine-Motor' - a small crowd looks on. II. 'AMERICAN TROOPS AND FRENCH CONSCRIPTS. Touching tribute to heroic slain near the front.' A column of US troops precedes a group of Frenchmen through a village. More Americans follow behind. III. '"PLAYING FIELDS OF ENGLAND." Princess Alice sees strenuous sports tests at Bradfield College.' Chauffeur-driven car enters the school gates. Princess Alice talks with a companion. Sequence showing the steeplechase - jumping obstacles, fording the River Pang and climbing the weir. An audience of college and local children look on. IV. 'NO RESPITE FOR THE HUNS. British artillery moving off to action.' A limbered battery of 18-pounder guns stands bunched up in a field waiting to move out across bridge over drainage ditch. 'Firing from a village.' A 6-inch howitzer standing in a farmyard is reloaded after firing - an 18-pounder battery passes by. The howitzer fires - a party of waiting soldiers run across the line of fire as the gun is reloaded.
