Summary:

"How "Fifi" attracts custom to a well known Shaftesbury Avenue "firm"." (15). LS of gentleman wearing coat, suit and bowler hat with one foot raised on to small shoe-shine foot rest. The shoe-black, wearing long coat and flat cap, is kneeling on the pavement and polishing the gentleman's shoe. The shoe-black's dog is running backwards and forwards in the foreground and the gentleman tosses a coin (?) towards it, which the dog runs after (22). "When things are slack "Fifi" has a "shoe-shine" herself." (27). MS of the dog with one paw raised on to the foot rest as the shoe-black pretends to shine it (36ft). Note: Both shots are outside a shop with a small crowd of onlookers in the background.
