Summary:

"An ammunition column loading up with shells at the quay side and leaving with supplies for the guns at the Front". (5 frames). Pan over gentle slope to sea with large numbers of French soldiers relaxing on the slope. They are dressed in light coloured uniforms. The pan continues to reveal a railway line running along the shore and two docked ships in a wide estuary. There are no scenes of unloading cargo (19). Closer view, pan of the soldiers relaxing and standing by a field kitchen (?) (32). On a beach, ponies haul up a large cart with two large wooden crates on them. French soldiers, in dark uniforms, push from behind (54ft).
