The winner and others are met by soldiers in uniform who check them off on a list (48). Two men sit opposite each other on a pole which is erected over a tarpaulin filled with water. They hit each other with pillows; one soldier drops his pillow and uses his hand to push the other soldier off the pole, but he swings round underneath the pole still clutching the sack.
