Contains unsigned frontispiece portrait of Milton with title page decorated in green in art nouveau style and lettered in black.

PR3560 1903 Milton Collection copy presented to the Penn Libraries by Joseph A. Wittreich in honor of Stuart A. Curran, 2021 has white boards with title in gilt in upper right hand corner with a gilt double hump branch just below the top edge. The left hand side of the front cover features oval portrait of a dark haired girl in red in a frame topped with a lover's knot. Front free endpaper is inscribed "To Mother From Annie and Sebastain. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year". There are [2] pages of publisher's advertisements (Ella Wheeler Wilcox) at end. Shipping list from The Rare Bird is laid in. Top edge gilt stained.
