The Boyfriend Annual, published by City Magazines, was published in the 1960s as a companion to UK's Boyfriend magazine. This title was a music publication aimed at teenage girls. Packed with photos of the latest pop stars, it focussed on the celebrity culture of the music business, particularly 'Beatlemania'
