Summary:
Just Seventeen was a magazine published in the UK by Emap between 1983-2004. Initially published fortnightly, it became a weekly magazine in 1986 and was the market leading title for teenage girls for almost a decade. It combined fashion, beauty, lifestyle and pop and included large fold out posters alongside an advice column, celebrity gossip and free gifts. Despite its name, its main readership was girls aged 13-15. Although criticised in some quarters for its frank approach to sex, its advice pages were popular and trusted sources of information for young readers
