Small folded sheet with manuscript transcription in black and red ink of the sonnet "Milton" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow tipped in at beginning of volume; manuscript transcription of a quotation from the journals of Thomas Babington Macaulay on first blank leaf in volume. Manuscript note in blue ink supplying the editor's name and imprint information (with wrong year) on first blank leaf in volume. Manuscript marks in red and blue ink and pencil in text.
